The Art & Approach


Hey, I’m Susie. A Christchurch-based photographer and creative with a love for beautiful design, fashion, interesting spaces and a good G&T. I’m naturally drawn to things that feel considered but never too perfect, which probably says a lot about the way I photograph too.

My work sits somewhere between documentary and editorial. Natural and instinctive, with a considered eye for light, composition and detail.

I’m drawn to strong imagery without the need to overwork it. Beautiful light, interesting perspectives, movement, texture and a little imperfection, balanced with portraits that feel effortless and refined.

The result is a collection that feels elevated but never overly polished. Modern, artful and distinctly yours.
